In case the master node fails and a different cluster node becomes master node: How does a user know the URL of the correct web interface? Is there an automatic redirection?
Manually enter a cluster node server's URL
There is no automatic redirection of the PRTG web interface if you cannot connect to the master node server. In this case, you must manually navigate to a different (former) failover node server's URL or IP address.
It is simply not possible for the PRTG web server of the unavailable PRTG core server to automatically redirect to the next cluster node.
Alternative: auto-redirect via DNS service
You can use a DNS service that offers automatic reconfiguration if the PRTG web interface of the master node is no longer reachable.

Note: To keep the installation and usage of the cluster as easy as possible, we do not use Windows Clustering features.
