I'd like to request a way to clone a sensor with no channels. I'm curious if anyone else would find this useful.

Just qurious, why? Isn't it so u create a master object that holds all the correct properties and chanels?

Peter, I use the custom EXEXML sensors quite a bit for collecting various types of data. For example, I wrote one that will return the usage statistics of SQL Server databases such as %CPU, Size, Free Space, etc... I want to be able to clone the sensor for a different server (that will have different database names) without bringing over the channel names. Cloning a sensor is much faster than creating a new custom sensor and configuring all of the options.
