Hi Guys,
We're running PRTG 8.1 to monitor our server and network devices. I understand that PRTG also supports alertin via syslog. I'd like to setup our PRTG core server as a syslog server and have it spit out alerts via email.
Is this possible, and if it is, are there any prequisites? If you could point me in the direction of some setup instruction guides/manuals I'd appericiate it.
Thanks in advance
Rgds
Scott

PRTG is not designed to replace a full featured Syslog server. However, you can create a Syslog Receiver Sensor which can catch syslog message and alert when there is a certain amount of messages received in a certain time span.
