Hello,
i have a Question about monitoring HSRP devices. In our local IT we have some Routers and Switches which are working fine in HSRP mode. There is no problem to monitor the devices themselves but can i check which device is active/master and which is passive/slave and create a notification if the master oder slave fails? This would be very helpful.

Cisco might have a HSRP MIB or OIDs that allow you to monitor which device is active and which is passive.
