I think my Virginmedia Superhub 3.0 (UK) has intermittent dropout of the wifi networks (2.4 and/or 5.0). The advertising seemed to suggest that PRTG NM was ideal for testing this but I'm finding it hard to know where to look. Could you please direct me where and how to go about it please.

Thanks

Kevin

Unfortunately, the device seemingly doesn't support SNMP. Intermittent dropouts of WiFi when using mixed networks sound somewhat familiar. Are they using the same SSID by any chance? If so, you might want to split these up into two different SSIDs (e.g. kevin.24ghz and kevin.5ghz), if the device provides options for that.

Otherwise, just get in touch with your ISP to get a replacement :)

Thanks Stephan. I was hoping to monitor the network to see if this was the wifi or the or the device linked to it, that's why I downloaded the software. How do I do that?

It has nothing PRTG could tap (no SNMP or the like), hence PRTG won't be able to monitor the network properly :( You could also just ditch the WiFi functionality and get a proper access point. Using a Ubiquiti Unifi UAC AP Pro at home with no issues so far :)
