New installation of PRTG. When adding a WMI Service sensor to PRTG I receive the following error:

Could not create the sensor WMI Service on device TOctCheckWMIMetaBase.MetaWork: timeout while waiting in WorkEnter

I'm currently running version 18.4.45.1898 and the other WMI sensors (not service sensors) appear to work fine. Ran the Paessler WMITest and didn't see any issues or problems.

Anywhere obvious I should be looking to resolve this?

Hello there,

This usually occurs when the device reponds quite slowly to the WMI request.

On the probe system you've added the device to (PRTG Server or Remote Probe) you can manually set a higher timeout for the so-called meta scan, see here for details.
