I have a sensor that has already been replaced with the hardware but the error remains
VMware Host Hardware Status (SOAP) message Error. 2 elements return an error state: Battery on HPSA1; Smart Array P410i Controller : Embedded : HPSA1
We have already restarted the CIM service on ESX as well.

Hello,
To debug this, we would like to look into the debug log of the sensor. To activate this debug log, please enable the "Write Result to Disk" Option in the settings of the sensor. And then forward us the logfile(s) via email to support@paessler.com.
It may be up to three files. You can identify them by the sensor ID and will find it in the "Logs (Sensors)"-Subfolder of the data directory of the according PRTG Probe running this sensor (https://helpdesk.paessler.com/en/support/solutions/articles/7600006351163-how-and-where-does-prtg-store-its-data).
best regards.
