We are working with a company that uses PRTG for monitoring. They have created an account for us to monitor a single group with a couple of devices, each with a number of sensors. We also use PRTG for monitoring and would like to monitor the group from our own PRTG instance. Is there a way to 'import' the group from the other PRTG instance so that the devices and sensors appear in our PRTG instance as if it were probing the remote devices directly?

Or do we need to add each sensor manually by querying the remote PRTG API for the measurements?

Each PRTG Probe in a PRTG setup reports sensor data in to a single PRTG Core Server. Having a PRTG Probe report into two completely separate PRTG Core Servers is not a thing. I would also advise against trying to create "fake" sensors in your own PRTG instance that simply relay the data from your client's PRTG server via API calls in order to establish a "single pane of glass"; this would likely cause performance issues for their PRTG Core Server.

Your best bet would either be to monitor their PRTG instance separately (recommended) or get them to setup additional PRTG Probe server(s) that point to your company's PRTG Core Server so that you can monitor their stuff in your PRTG instead of theirs (who knows how many probes that may require, you'll certainly cause additional load on their equipment, etc)
