I did a large discovery (700+ hosts), but I don't like default device names.

SNMP sensors let you choice how you want to name them by using placeholders (e.g. [ifname][ifalias]).

Device names should offer a similar feature too, letting you choose at least placeholders like [dns-name], [host-ip] and possibly "snmp-featured" ones (e.g. [snmp-sysname])
