Hi ,
Could you tell me when software is up and running, does that data send back to your server?
Or just all the data store in locally.
Thanks.

Hello pchen and thank you for your contribution AndrewG.
While as stated in the privacy policy, some usage statistics are collected by PRTG, none of this data can tracked back to which customer generated the actual data.
As for PRTG's Monitoring Database, it will be set-up locally on your Core Server. PRTG is a Standalone application and all data collected by PRTG belongs to you and stays within your network/server. Please note that even when working with remote probes, the configuration and monitoring data are always kept on the Core Server.
For more details:
- How and where does PRTG store its data?
- How can I safely move large numbers of sensors to a new remote probe?

I think you are asking if PRTG sends your monitoring data (Or WHAT you are monitoring) back to Paessler.
Read this:
I am also pretty sure that you can lock down your PRTG server (via a firewall) so it cannot talk to the internet at all (of course it will not check for updates etc). Maybe someone can confirm this?
