Good afternoon,
I have setup an HTTP Push Data Advanced Sensor as described here:
How can I monitor and automatically restart a service on a Linux host?
I have not received any data so I attempted to run the command via the Linux shell and receive the following output;
--2016-10-18 14:35:54-- https://<SERVER>:5050/<IDENT_TOKEN>?content=%3Cprtg%3E%3Cresult%3E%3Cchannel%3Eapache2%20status%3C/channel%3E%3Cvalue%3E1%3C/value%3E%3C/result%3E%3Ctext%3EService:%20apache2%20is%20running!%3C/text%3E%3C/prtg%3E Resolving <SERVER> (<SERVER>)... <IP> Connecting to <SERVER> (<SERVER>)|<IP>|:5050... connected. Unable to establish SSL connection.
I am able to successfully connect to the PRTG server via Web browser. Is there a setting in PRTG that has to be enabled to allow an SSL connection to be made?
Push sensors always use HTTP, no matter what PRTG is configured to use for its webinterface. It's not possible to use HTTPS :)
