Hello All,

We installed PRTG with all defaults and now we are running out of space quickly. I noticed that the "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Paessler\PRTG Network Monitor\V7\Monitoring Database" is datintg back from August of 2010 to present and is 9.32 GB in size.

What can I do to purge this data or move it to another partition? Please let me know- any suggestions would be appreciated.

thank you, Brian

Hello,

you can manually delete folders in it, or adjust PRTGs purging settings under "Setup"->"System Administration"->"Data Purging Limits".
As of version 15 the data purging limits are available under "Setup"->"System Administration"->"Core & Probes".

best Regards.

Thank you Torsten. Which setting within Data Purging Limits would this correspond to? Historic Sensor Data?

Also can we change the location of this DB to another partition- or is this default location not configurable?

Please let us know, Thank you, Brian
