Hello,
Is it possible to monitor the PING from a host to a server? when the PRTG software /client or probe is not installed on that machine?

Hello Kiran,
thank you for your post.
If the host from which you want to issue the ping command is reachable from a PRTG Probe, you can use the WMI Remote Ping, or SSH Remote Ping sensors to issue a "remote ping" without having the Remote Probe software installed on the host or server.
The sensor's manual pages list their requirements, please note that we're currently re-writing the SSH engine for sensors in PRTG, you may experience authentication failures with the current SSH sensors.
