How do I set the down state of the WMI Terminal Services Sensor? Or how can I have the sensor notify me if it goes above a certain number of users?

Hi there,

The sensor will create three channels:

  • Active Sessions (sessions with a currently logged in user)
  • Total Sessions (including inactive sessions): inactive sessions can be sessions with a disconnected user that has not logged out, or system services using a session
  • Downtime Click on one of those channels to enter the channel configuration. Here you can enable the limits for this particular channel and enter thresholds for the maximum number of concurrent users.

If you want to bind a notification to this condition, you can use the State Trigger below the notification tab.
